Richmond Park, Whittle-le-Woods (COMPLETED)

We have constructed a 100m long, 3m high gabion basket retaining wall on one side of Wainhomes’ new Moss Lane development and are currently installing a 5m high sound attenuation bund on the opposite site elevation to overcome the potential noise form the adjacent M61 motorway.

Roads and Sewers works have included a pumping station with rising main and the groundworks have involved lifting the level of the site substantially with engineered fill compacted with sheep’s foot drum rollers.

The stage 1 roads and sewers have been completed and groundworks on this 45 plot scheme are well advanced which should see completion during the course of 2018.

The total value of the groundworks and civil engineering packages package amounted to nearly £2m.
